Keeping your property looking its best year-round takes more than just an occasional mow. To help you plan your property care for the season, here is a complete breakdown of our core services, and what each step includes.
Weekly Maintenance: Our weekly lawn service. This includes mowing all the grass, along with weed whacking when needed. We’ll also edge any walkways, driveways, curbs, and flower beds, as well as blow clean all hard surfaces.
Seasonal Clean-Ups:
- Spring and Fall: We clean up any leaves and debris from the lawn and flower beds, and trim and prune as the season dictates.
- Mid-Summer: We do all seasonal trimming and pruning, then weed all flower beds.
Mulch: We clean, weed, and re-cut all flower beds. We then spread mulch in the flower beds in a color of your choice. (The typical choices are black, brown, or natural colors.)
Gutter Cleaning: We clean out all gutters and downpipes to ground level. We offer this service twice a year, in the fall and spring.
Aerating and Overseeding: First, we flag all sprinkler heads to ensure they’re not damaged during aeration. Then, all lawn areas get aerated with a core aerator. Tighter spots that require more precision are aerated by hand. We’ll then rake out any dead patches, spread a high-quality topsoil/compost mix, and overseed all lawn areas.
Leaf Maintenance: These can be compared to a miniature seasonal clean-up. During Leaf Maintenance, we clean up all leaves and debris around the hard surfaces of the home, as well as the lawn and even the road in front of the house. The importance of this service is the timing—fall clean-ups are heavy-duty and take a long time to get a high-quality clean. Sprinkler System Service: This service takes place in two parts, at the beginning of spring and the end of fall. In spring, we’ll open the sprinkler system, set the clock, and check the entire system to make sure everything is working properly. In fall, we shut the whole system down for you and blow the lines out so that no breakages are caused by cold winter temperatures.
Driveway Sealing: We clear any weeds and debris from the driveway surface, then seal it using a premium driveway sealer. Heads up! Once the driveway is sealed, wait 24 hours for foot traffic and 48 hours for any cars or vehicles.
Lawn Treatment Program: Our Treatment Program is designed to make a lawn look its best and keep it there. Our 6-step program starts in April and runs all the way through the end of October.
Lawn Fungicide: We apply a fungicide to all sections of the lawn. This fungicide is designed to control all of the most common types of fungus, such as dollar spot, brown patch, and more. Fungicide needs to be applied every 2 to 3 weeks for as long as heat and humidity are high.
Natural Insect Spray: We spray all main areas of the property with an insect spray based on all-natural cedar oil to control ticks and mosquitoes.
